You ever have a dream so horrific and vivid that it wakes you up 5-6 times in a night, you feel nauseous and when you fall back to sleep it starts immediately where it left off? I'm not going to post the details here... I want to forget it as soon as possible. But I haven't been able to think about anything else all day.

Sometimes I hate my capacity to dream.

I'm honestly afraid to sleep tonight...

    <lj:music>Slayer - Expendable Youth</lj:music>

Why is it that most people I speak to that are absolutely miserable with their lives blame it on school? Relax people! There will always be something getting in your way of your dreams... either school, your 9-5, los bebes, los womenz, los menz, or any number of uncontrollable crises like having to stand in a bread line because the banks stole all of our moneys.

On another front, I've dropped below 120 pounds again. This is unfortunate, as I was almost 140 about 3 months ago. All I did was forget to eat and intake enough caffeine to make the heads of small rodents explode! So I've gone on a quest through burrito fields and hamburger highways to reach that land of non-sickly looking male-types.

An aside! Why did Tool just start playing on my Pantera Radio on Pandora? Thumbs down for you, good sir! I like Tool, but Thrash metal goodness bring, they do not.

Oh, and I am convinced the reason women aren't running into my recently single, manly, embracing arms at every corner is I'm simply so irresistible that they are afraid of being TOO satisfied. So women, next time you have your super secret committee meeting where you talk about your breasts and Hillary Clinton's next run for president, throw me on your agenda - there's nothing to fear! (maybe it has something to do with the Manorexic drag-rat look I've adopted, but go ahead and hold that meeting anyway.)

The self-diagnosed A.D.D. has owned this post. It is meaningless, forget everything you have read (does anyone actually read this thing? I sure as hell don't.) I bid you kthxbai!
<lj:music>Radiohead - Idioteque</lj:music>

Hi all,

Long time no see.

Firstly, I desperately need to shave. I'm starting to resemble a mix between Kid Rock, Shaggy from Scooby Doo and a Drag Rat. The facial hair has become more of a sign of weakness and confusion than its original conception through laziness brought on by moving and beer.

Nevertheless, ONWARD to this overdue breaking of silence that can only be justified when coupled with the inevitable clusterfuck of life altering experiences that have recently defined the life of yours truly. I won't go into the details of my activities over the past few months; if you desire to be caught up, feel free to call me and we shall share stories over tea and, dare I suggest, crumpets too. I will, however, attempt to give you a mind's eye view of my current state of play.

I must preemptively apologize, this post has become quite emo-elitist.

I can't seem to remove myself from this dichotomous existence that can easily be defined by my absolutely separable left-brain and right-brain tendencies. I'm a musical IT philosophical writer code-monkey. Put that on my degree, UT. I'm not really sure what will become of me or my plans, but my recent experiences have taught me that happiness is here and that, at least for me, life always seems to work itself out. I'm definitely not the same person I was 3 years ago, which I consider progress.

Disregarding a strict anti-emo policy, I have to say... I still love her. The problem is, the person I am IN love with no longer exists. Perhaps the person that is in love with her no longer exists either. I left for Seattle hoping to discover the question that everyone looks for in life - the question that needs answering to find what truly makes a person happy, only to find that the answer to that question is that the question itself does not exist. The time apart seemed to be just enough to create an impassable rift between us given the changes we both experienced. Possibly the reason I wouldn't look at her right before she said the sentence that I have heard daily for a month now is that I didn't recognize the person that was saying it.

Enough of that. *Looking for a manly thing to say...* WOMEN SUCK. GOD. *man-beer-flex*

I promise I shall follow this post in the near future with happier news. Every chapter of life has an end.

</emo>

<3s
Nacho

P.S. Take care of yourself Tsung. We pray for your safety daily, even though we aren't even sure there is someone there to pray to.
Pre-interview

soooooooooo dreams before the interview.

1) I was in my friend's house from childhood (I'm talking like age 3-7 childhood), and a meteor fell in his backyard. And, as it should be, a dog-looking alien comes from the meteor. It does everything you would expect an alien to do; talk, walk, have evil intentions, etc. Basically it came down to the fact that he had a vagina looking thing with teeth on the side of his back that ate living things - it would then absorb them, and those living things' heads would show up in random places on the dogs body (at one point in the dream it was this brown talking dog with an orange cat that looked like was popping out of his ass). I kept trying to convince my friends dad (who i havent seen in years) to shoot the damn thing, but he wouldn't for reasons I don't remember. Finally I ended up killing it after it ate a few people and some cats.

2) Interview related dream - I flew up here on Wednesday, and in the dream I "woke up" to realize I had flown back to Austin that night and had to be back in Seattle in like 2 hours for the interview. I then "woke up" again in the dream to realized I had dreamed that I flew back to Austin. I then woke up in real life to realize that I had dreamed that I had dreamed that I had flown back to Austin the night before the interview. Recursive dreaming is the shit.

<3 Nacho

    <lj:music>Smashing Pumpkins - Tonight</lj:music>

My summary of matt's bday party:

Drive drive drive, fun fun fun, drive drive drive, fun fun fun, caffeine caffeine caffeine, drive drive drive, COPS COPS COPS (false alarm), fun fun fun, drama drama drama, talk talk talk, fun fun fun, drive drive drive, talk talk talk, drive drive drive, sigh sigh sigh. The drives by myself included No Control on 101x, so I rocked the FUCK out while driving around. Glorious? Yes.

I do have to admit though, staying sober at this party did GENERALLY make me have a better time. Regardless that at one point about 75% of the 25-30 people in my apartment I did not know =) [most of them seemed pretty chill though, so its all good]. It was cool to see all the people that showed up (really diverse crowd... but most of my friends made it, which is great).

I've been meeting new people recently - well its more or less getting to know people I didn't know very well, but im excited nonetheless. I've been stuck in this "hole" for a while, and I think I'm learning how to stay afloat as they fill it with water (i <3 metaferrs).

On a better note, my demolished ankle has almost full motion now, and the swelling is almost completely gone (I went from a shit load of pain yesterday morning to feeling amazing today). Depending on how it feels Monday, I may attempt Kung-fu again *excited, giddy 'n' shit*.

Ooooohhhh and KORN ACOUSTIC! Its.... interesting. Jonathan Davis has an amazing fucking voice - the music just doesn't work really well (as would be expected). If they would have spent more than 2 hours preparing for it, I'm sure they could've made their songs into some of the most eerie music I've heard - I'm just becoming increasingly intrigued by them. I want to see where they go next.

'tis about it. All is forgiven, from every end. Outside of finding a decent girl, nothing could be better in my life at the moment.

God why the hell did I bring this damn thing back? *EMO TEAR!!!*

ooo p.s.

Concert dates I wouldn't mind going to:

May 2 or 3 - Rob Zombie (sold out but wouldnt mind buying ebay tickets)
May 11 - Imogen Heap
May 20 - David Copperfield (anyone interested in this?)
June 23 - Slayer/Lamb of God/Children of Bodom
November 1 - Fear Factory

    <lj:music>Led Zeppelin - Tangerine</lj:music>

Popped a blood vessel in my right eye yesterday and woke up with a blood-caked right nostril (yay high blood pressure) from being... livid. Meh. Life moves on.

*emo tear*

On a good note I've been picking up the guitar every day since Matt's been gone. I've also started working out daily again, despite my demolished ankle from a drunken night of being part Irish.

Alot of shit went down with my friends and women this week though (outside of what happened since Saturday... concerning Saturday... on my front... I'm sick of even thinking about it so I won't go into it; it doesn't need to be posted publicly anyway). The consistent group this week has pretty much been me, Anthony, Tina (his GF), Heath, and Nic (representing the great city of New Braunfels, Texas). They've all been at my apartment every night until at least 5am, and Heath has made Matt's bed his own for the week (hope he doesn't mind, don't see why he would though...) Anyway, Nic had a huge woman problem earlier in the week, then I had mine, and Anthony had something HUGE happen yesterday too. All of which aren't normal woman problems for the respective people, but are in some way or another EXTRAORDINARY (key superhero music). I'm talking 8+ on the "what-the-fuck-o-meter" (which doesn't exist, but if I had one, it would be awesome).

I've been avoiding work all week accordingly... worked from home yesterday afternoon after reading the cause of my rare-as-all-fuck emo moment, then had my way with the punching bag in the fitness center. E-mailed in sick today, because I couldn't focus on my code anyway (passed it on to someone else in the office).

Now to get my truck fixed. Yay n' shit.
